Jean-Francois “Jeff” Clavier, Founder: SoftTech VC
-Background: Jean-Francois “Jeff” Clavier is the Founder and Managing Partner of SoftTech VC, one of the most established seed VC firms in Silicon Valley, having closed 150 investments since 2004. -Background: Biography
Christine Tsai is a Partner at 500 Startups. As part of the investment team, she works closely with early-stage startups, directs the 500 Accelerator program, platform partnerships with companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and 500′s distribution efforts for the portfolio. Prior to 500, Christine spent many years at Google and YouTube, working on developer platforms and leading Google I/O, Google’s annual developer conference. She also drove product marketing for early-stage video monetization products, Google AdSense, and YouTube syndication, as well as holding technical operations roles in Google AdSense and Google Analytics. Before Google, Christine worked in international sales and operations at OSIsoft and ChevronTexaco. Christine holds a BA in Cognitive Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
