SupCom will always be my favourite strategy game, no game I have played since had so many units, playstyles and sheer awesome battles, its too bad they ruined the franchise with SupCom 2

"This game remains to be one of the best World War II games out there." No no no, you give that title to a game that deserves it: Men of War. Company of Heroes blowed, from the AI that had no idea what it was doing to the overall awful voice acting.

  6. ChriSX13 says:

sc2 over the original starcraft? really?

Personally, I think AoE2 should have been #1. But, that being said, I never played any of the other games on this list… I'm only in 6th grade, anyways. (my dad still had the aoe2 disk from when he was a kid, that's how I was able to play it)

Brood War was a better Starcraft game than SC2 Wings of Liberty. The entire concept of "e-sports" as we know it owes much of its existence to Brood War becoming a cultural phenomenon in South Korea. Before that, you had only minor competitive tournaments in certain FPS games, but those were tiny in comparison.

Blizzard has one final chance to raise SC2 to the level of Broodwar, with the final expansion coming next year, but it is not guaranteed.

  9. evilsamar says:

no men of war? seriously? It should be number one as it's more complicated and detailed than any on the list. everything except total war is arcadish compared to men of war.

  10. Anti-Riku says:

where's World in Conflict? that game is great! it give a focus on strategy and shied away from base building or resource collecting  altogether

    Sid Meier's Civilization 5

I liked Starcraft 1 better than 2. The LAN parties with Starcraft 1 were awesome. With Starcraft 2, I just get my ass kicked by asians all day long. It sucks, not the game, but getting owned all the time.

  17. Alex Moore says:

Taking the time to build 30 galactic colossi and wiping your enemy off the map in one charge was one of the best things in supreme commander.
